monday.com introduced Workflow Automation Blocks as a new way to build and run automations - a more modular and flexible infrastructure that runs alongside the existing recipe engine.
For Boost apps users this means more options, not a migration. Everything that already worked, still works. This release adds full compatibility with the new blocks so you can build on whichever engine fits your workflow - or both.
Autoboost Automations All Autoboost actions and triggers are now workflow block compatible. Mirror column automation, formula-driven triggers, subitem calculations, currency conversions - everything runs natively inside monday workflows.
Mirror Advanced Automations Mirror-based triggers and actions are now embedded directly inside workflow blocks. Cross-board automation using mirror columns is fully supported in the new infrastructure.
Formula Automations Formula logic is now embedded directly in workflow blocks. Condition-based triggers, calculated outputs, formula-to-column recipes - all running on the new architecture.
Important: this is additive. All existing recipes on the legacy automation engine remain fully operational. You can continue using the legacy infrastructure, switch to the new Workflow Automation Blocks, or run both together - the choice is yours.
This update comes alongside the recent launch of Autoboost Hub AI - an AI assistant built directly into your monday.com board that writes formulas, recommends recipes, and debugs automations on the spot.
